Responsibilities
- Work closely with a Laboratory Technologist in the performance of diagnostic procedures.
- Perform procedures as efficiently and expeditiously as possible.
- May exercise limited independent judgment and work under the supervision of a Laboratory Technologist, Supervisor or Director.
Qualifications
Education/Training
- Required: Certificate training program at an approved school for Medical Technician level training leading to state licensure
- Preferred: Associates Degree in MLS
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Current Florida License Laboratory Clinical Technician (TC) or eligibility for licensure
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience
- Required: Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Preferred: Previous laboratory experience
