About the role
Nuclear Manufacturing contributes to Cardinal Health's manufacturing operations by producing time-sensitive radiopharmaceuticals in a highly regulated environment. This position operates shifts that include both overnight and day shifts, with rotating schedules and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Successfully complete extensive training to demonstrate and maintain proficiency in manufacturing processes and quality control.
- Manufacture radioactive isotopes, conduct quality control testing, and perform environmental and personnel monitoring.
- Coordinate daily production runs based on customer and pharmacy needs.
- Manage SAP inventory, including receiving and inspecting materials, and maintaining cycle counts.
- Perform radiation safety tasks and maintain a clean lab environment.
- Document processes, communicate effectively, and manage clerical tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with preferred education in sciences (Chemistry, Biology).
- 0-1 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a controlled environment and/or regulated industry.
- Laboratory experience is highly preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and exercise sound judgment.
- Manual dexterity for equipment operation.
