Lab Technician III, Product Quality

Job Summary

Perform a variety of standardized laboratory tests used in the quality assurance, research, and development of products, formulations, and applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform Analysis of raw and finished products based on written procedures.
• Perform daily verification of the equipment and maintenance on testing equipment as assigned.
• Assure all retained samples are identified and properly stored.
• Prepare reagents, media and supplies for testing, as needed.
• Perform basic aseptic laboratory techniques.
• Assist with special projects and testing.
• Use the computerized inventory management system (LIMS) and Microsoft Excel for the input and retrieval of data for all products and materials tested.
• Maintain laboratory housekeeping and completion of master sanitation schedule.
• Utilize appropriate Safety and Food Safety Practices while performing job functions.
• All Functions related to Quality Control and the advancements of IFF within the Quality organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a laboratory setting preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment and safety practices.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel and LIMS systems.

• Basic laboratory techniques.
• Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Excel and LIMS systems.
