About the role
At Vitalant, a non‑profit organization, you will support the life‑saving mission by working as a Laboratory Technician in Rosemont, IL (5505 Pearl Street, Rosemont, IL 60018). The position operates on Shift 2 with a schedule of 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM, including weekend rotation, and training is conducted during daytime hours.
Responsibilities
- Component production, labeling, record reviewing, and data entry
- Maintain accurate data records and documentation
- Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration
- Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements
- Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- No prior experience required

Pay
