About the Role
Vitalant is seeking a Laboratory Technician dedicated to making a positive difference. As a member of our non-profit organization, you’ll support our life-saving mission by operating within the laboratory, handling responsibilities such as component production, labeling, record reviewing, and data entry.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate data records and documentation.
- Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.
- Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements.
- Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED required.
- No experience required.
Schedule
Days: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, rotates weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
Pay
Base wage: $16.45 / hour - $17.15 / hour
