Job Description

Roles:

  • Provide solid technical skill, analytical testing, and engineering support for design and development activities for various medical device products.
  • Support current products in roles of quality, research & development, pilot-scale manufacturing, supply continuity, and cost improvement.
  • Execute technical and cross-functional project work
  • Understand customer needs through literature review, competitive analysis, prototype evaluation, and clinical / simulated use studies.
  • Support engineering of robust and manufacturable products through strong understanding and application of engineering fundamentals.

Must haves

  • A minimum of 1-year experience with operation of material and/or chemical analytical instrumentation which may include but not limited to: HPLC, UV-VIS, FTIR, DSC, TGA.
  • Ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports that comply with company policies and with local, regional, and federal regulations.
  • Strong technical communication skills
  • Absolutely need an Associates degree or higher in STEM (chemistry, biology, microbiology, biotechnology, biomedical engineering).

Qualifications

Associates degree or higher in STEM field (chemistry, materials science, biomedical engineering preferred)

Skills

Some experience with lab setting and instruments (Example: HPLC, UV/VIS, ICP, DMA, DSC, TGA)
