Vitalant is seeking a Laboratory Technician dedicated to making a positive difference in our donor products manufacturing laboratory. Support Vitalant's life-saving mission by operating within the laboratory handling responsibilities that include component production, labeling, record reviewing, and data entry. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate data records and documentation.
- Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.
- Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements.
- Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures.
Requirements
- High School or GED required
- No experience required
Schedule
- Days will rotate
- Weekends
Pay
Base Wage: $18.37 - $19.88 (depending on experience)
