Lab Technician - Dayshift
Job Description
Vitalant is seeking a Laboratory Technician dedicated to making a positive difference. Support Vitalant's life-saving mission by operating within the laboratory handling responsibilities that include component production, labeling, record reviewing and data entry.
Work Shift
Work Shift: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm with Rotating Weekends - day off during the week.
Training
Must be able to train 6:30 am - 3:00 pm Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday. 12 Weeks Training
Compensation
Hourly Pay Rate: 18.27 - 18.67 DOE
Requirements
- High School or GED required
- No Experience Required
Skills/Abilities
- Able to stand for long periods of time, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Detail oriented and possess strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
- Maintain donor, patient and employee confidentiality
- Basic keyboarding skills and the ability to handle and operate laboratory equipment
- Able to work flexible shifts and overtime when necessary
