Lab Technician - Construction Testing

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests related to Concrete, Soil, Asphalt, Masonry, and other construction materials in accordance with applicable testing standards/methods.
• Perform a variety of laboratory standardized tests on construction materials using established methods.
• Report results of testing as per ASTM or other standardized requirements.
• Perform Laboratory maintenance.
• Perform maintenance and verifications of laboratory testing equipment.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate should have a technical/engineering background, knowledge or degree and able to obtain ACI Lab Concrete Testing Certifications within 6 months of hiring.
• Strong mathematic skills.
• Absolutely must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A high school Diploma or higher degree with 2 years of lab experience or relevant certifications/degree preferred.
