Lab Technician
Role Description
UST transforms lives through technology, supporting clients and partners in creating transformative experiences and human-centered solutions. This position supports validation and testing of semiconductor platforms, components, and systems.
Opportunity
- Aid in system bring-up, configuration, and execution of validation test cases
- Perform basic debug and triage of test failures, collect logs, and document observations
- Support OS installation and configuration on validation platforms (Linux/Windows)
- Execute manual and semi-automated validation workflows under supervision
- Aid in hardware setup including platform assembly, cabling, and peripheral connections
- Maintain test records, validation results, and defect documentation
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of semiconductor validation or system testing
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and system architecture
- Exposure to Linux or Windows operating systems
- Basic debugging and problem-solving skills
- Good documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a lab-based, hands-on environment
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation can differ based on location, role, skill set, education, and experience.
