About the role
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a lab environment, building hardware, troubleshooting issues, and supporting engineering teams.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support daily operations in an engineering lab environment.
- Build, organize, and maintain hardware inventory and lab equipment.
- Aid with hardware setup, integration, and functional testing.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting, including verifying IP connectivity and assisting with debugging network-related issues.
- Support engineers during test execution and help document test results.
- Maintain lab organization and ensure equipment is properly configured and ready for testing.
- Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to keep testing activities moving efficiently.
Key Qualifications
- Experience working in a lab, manufacturing, test, or engineering technician environment.
- Hands-on experience building, configuring, or testing hardware systems.
- Basic networking knowledge, including understanding IP addressing and the ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Comfortable using standard lab equipment and following test procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently while supporting multiple engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to RF testing or wireless systems.
- Familiarity with spectrum analyzers or other RF test equipment.
- Experience supporting hardware integration or system validation.
- Background supporting networking, telecommunications, aerospace, satellite, or electronics products.
