Lab Technician

Our client, a leader in the advanced materials and transportation industry, is seeking a LAB Technician III to join their team. As a LAB Technician III, you will be part of the Surface Treatment & Priming Operations supporting product development, quality control, and customer support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to teamwork and safety, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: LAB Technician III Location: Maplewood, MN Pay Range What's the Job? Set up, operate, and maintain etch and anodize process lines according to established procedures and industry standards Monitor and control chemical bath parameters including concentration, temperature, pH, and immersion times to ensure process consistency and quality Prepare and handle chemical solutions used in surface treatment processes, adhering to all safety and environmental protocols Inspect and evaluate treated surfaces for quality and conformance to specifications Set up and operate primer spray booth equipment, applying coatings to substrates as per defined procedures and specifications What's Needed? Experience with surface treatment processes such as etching and anodizing is preferred Strong understanding of chemical handling and safety protocols Ability to operate spray booth equipment and monitor environmental conditions Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Ability to work independently with minimal supervision What's in it for me?
