Join a team where quality, precision, and innovation drive success. Are you detail-oriented, hands-on, and passionate about maintaining high-quality standards? We are seeking a Lab Technician to support our quality assurance and production processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform sample sorting, preparation, testing setup, and laboratory clean-up activities.
- Conduct quality inspections, sampling, and product evaluations to ensure compliance with established specifications and standards.
- Test incoming raw materials and finished products for quality, suitability, and regulatory compliance.
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as directed.
- Monitor laboratory and production data, promptly identifying and reporting any out-of-specification results or quality concerns.
- Accurately maintain laboratory records, reports, and documentation in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Enter and manage data within computerized systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Generate reports and statistical data to support process control and quality improvement efforts.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas that improve efficiency, productivity, and laboratory operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including supporting Clean-In-Place (CIP) activities and washing laboratory equipment, utensils, and glassware.
- Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, sanitation, quality, and workplace safety requirements.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in food manufacturing, laboratory testing, quality assurance, or a related environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify trends, issues, and quality concerns.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Flexibility to support additional tasks and responsibilities as business needs evolve.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computerized data entry systems.
- Experience with quality assurance processes, GMPs, or food safety programs is a plus.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $66,476.80 - $66,476.80/yr. They get a $1 increase in pay after a year of work. The following May, they receive a $2 increase.
