Formed in June 2014 with the acquisition of Juicy Juice, the company expanded through subsequent acquisitions and now manufactures, markets, and distributes iconic brands including Juicy Juice®, SunnyD®, Veryfine®, Fruit2O®, Little HUG®, Daily’s Cocktails®, and Nutrament® across grocery, mass merchandisers, warehouse clubs, convenience, foodservice, and liquor distributors.
About the role
The Quality Technician will assure consistent quality of production by enforcing quality and manufacturing standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensures all products are produced per food safety and quality standards.
- Monitors the production process and product by sensory, weight control, and analytical methods to maintain product consistency and comply with established specifications including brix, pH, color, weight, etc.
- Evaluates all finished products regarding ingredient content, color, package fill, finished weights, seal integrity, code date legibility, and other routine testing as required.
- Accurately performs and documents all testing, including inspection and testing of incoming raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Collects and prepares samples for shipment to outside lab for analysis.
- Identifies and communicates all out-of-compliance situations and product standards to production employees and Production/QA Supervisors; places out-of-compliance raw material and finished product on hold.
- Obtains samples for bacteria plating and daily quality checks as needed.
- Maintains all laboratory and testing equipment and performs calibrations per schedule.
- Performs environmental testing of air, water, and bacteria according to schedules.
- Performs additional duties as directed by the QA Supervisor.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- 1 year of production experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
- Must be 21 years of age in order to perform sensory analysis on alcohol.

C-shift (4pm - 12am)
Pay
$19.45 hourly
