Lab Tech III

Overview

The Bioanalytical group within Science and Technology is seeking an experienced Bio-analytical Scientist/Lab Technician to perform routine and non-routine analysis, as well as formulation work within the group.

Responsibilities

• Work with project leads on projects of varying complexity including routine and non-routine analysis, generating reliable and consistent results.
• Troubleshoot experiments and instrumentation.
• Perform general lab maintenance and lab upkeep.
• Carry out routine testing.
• Document experiments using an electronic notebook (eLN).
• Learn and understand new experimental techniques.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.
• Follow, understand, and comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies regarding cGMPs and safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab area.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific field.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge to carry out the job function.
