Lab Tech II
About the Role
Acuren is seeking a Lab Tech II to support operations in Cincinnati, OH. This intermediate position requires solid technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to train or support junior personnel.
The Laboratory Technician II independently performs a variety of laboratory tests and analyses with moderate supervision, ensuring test accuracy and compliance with established standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical testing, including tensile and compression testing
- Prepare and analyze samples
- Operate specialized laboratory instruments such as mechanical testing frames (tensile and compression), OES, and various microscopes
- Interpret data and maintain detailed records
- Assist in troubleshooting or method refinement
