About the Role
Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests to assist scientists in making qualitative and quantitative analyses of solids, liquids, and gaseous materials for research and development of new products or processes, quality control, maintenance of environmental standards, and other work involving experimental, theoretical, or practical application of chemistry and related sciences.
Responsibilities
- Collect and prepare standard data in a GMP environment.
- Support others by carrying out simple product development or engineering tasks, such as gathering data or preparing documents, following established procedures.
- Assess compliance with established standards and protocols.
- Carry out basic project tasks.
- Organize own workload schedule each day in line with changing priorities.
- Work with guidance (but not constant supervision) to develop appropriate plans or perform necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.
- Analyze data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.
- Plan, organize, prioritize, and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
- Develop, monitor, interpret, and understand policies and procedures, ensuring they match organizational strategies and objectives.
Requirements
- Night shift: 6pm-6am (3 days on, 3 days off).
- High school diploma required; associate degree in a science-related discipline preferred.
- Basic experience with simple office/operational systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- The laboratory operates in a GMP environment.
