Lab Support Technician I - PT

Role: Lab Support Technician I, supporting laboratory reports, data, and scheduling functions within the provider care team. Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and timely laboratory support, exhibit excellent customer service, acquire specimens using professional and safe methods, and process, transport, and refer laboratory specimens and reports. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or G.E.D., enrollment in a healthcare-related program preferred, experience in a clinical laboratory is advantageous. Additional Requirements: Successful completion of probation, no active disciplinary actions, and adherence to confidentiality and lab policies. Key Duties: Support specimen collection, processing, and reporting, while maintaining high standards of service and compliance. Work Environment: Part-time role involving days, evenings, holidays, and weekends at a hospital laboratory location.
