About the Role

Develop and optimize sensors, collect, process, and interpret electrochemistry data, train new students, maintain cell cultures (including biowaste management), troubleshoot instrumentation, disseminate findings through presentations, and write manuscript(s).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Neuroscience
  • One year of experience with electrochemical sensors
  • One year of experience maintaining and growing cell cultures

Qualifications

  • Experience with fast scan cyclic voltammetry, carbon fiber microelectrodes, flow injection analysis, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy
  • Experience with polymer coatings such as PEDOT/Nafion

Pay

$22.34/hr to $23/hour

Schedule

0.80 FTE (80% of full-time) for a 12-month term ending June 30, 2027
