Core Responsibilities
- Build out a framework for Business Language Analysis (BLA), exploiting the fundamental properties of accounting rules.
- Source-grounded extraction from long financial-legal documents, ensuring each extracted item is traceable to its exact location in the source and verifiable against independent evidence.
- Compose reasoning that considers the interaction between multiple provisions or accounts to determine the quantity of interest.
- Create agentic architectures that integrate retrieval, tool use, and verification into auditable multi-step pipelines.
- Apply structural methods on accounting data, including graph spectral and information-theoretic measures of financial-statement graphs, and tensor factorization of multi-way accounting panels under conservation constraints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years of experience in data collection and analysis, research experience, and/or research methodology experience required
- A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered
