Lab Medical Asst II

Perform in-home blood draws for patients using your personal vehicle. We blend high-tech with high touch in ways that are advancing superior health care throughout the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing
• Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens
• Referring specimens to outside laboratories
• Interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests
• Performance of phlebotomy procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 6 months of Phlebotomy, Laboratory related, or related field experience
• High School diploma or equivalent, or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field in lieu of experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Clean driving record
• Successful completion of a Level 2 background screening

Schedule

• Full-time, non-exempt position
• Shift Hours: 7:00am–3:30pm
• Occasional weekend work
• No on-call requirement
