Facility: South Florida Baptist Med Arts Building Walden, Plant City, FL. This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Responsibilities

• Collecting, receiving, and processing inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing
• Communicating with nursing regarding patient specimens
• Referring specimens to outside laboratories
• Interacting with physicians, clients, and staff regarding referral lab tests
• Performing phlebotomy procedures
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 6 months of experience in phlebotomy, laboratory-related work, or a related field
• High School diploma or equivalent, or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field in lieu of experience
• Valid Driver’s License

Preferred: Phlebotomy credential or equivalent experience.

Schedule

• Shift Hours: 6:50 AM – 3:20 PM
• Weekend Work: Occasional
• On Call: No
