Lab Manager (CMT/Soils)

Essential Functions

• Performing specific QA/QC tests on construction materials and building components such as soil, concrete, and asphalt, per ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, etc. standards.
• Maintain detailed records of observations, inspections, and test results.
• Organizing lab data, processing, and report preparation.
• Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment and workspaces.
• Managing lab personnel and maintaining required certifications among the laboratory team.
• Maintaining lab accreditation.

Qualifications

• ACI Concrete Strength, Aggregate Base and ACI Aggregate Testing Certifications are Required.
• 5+ Experience in a Construction Materials Testing Laboratory testing and sampling.
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
• Strong project management abilities, including managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
