Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing, and we are looking to hire a Laboratory Testing Technician working from our laboratory in Pittsburgh, PA at the Nova Place location, with a start date on or before July 1, 2026.

A Day in the Life of a Laboratory Testing Technician

A typical day for the laboratory testing technician involves sample processing, performing quality control checks, and providing overall laboratory support. The technician works with equipment setup for staining and imaging, prepares reagents, manages specimens, and assists with inventory and quality management activities. This role will spend the majority of time on three primary functions:

  • Equipment setup, monitoring, and maintenance
  • Conducting inventory checks and stocking consumables
  • Managing slide specimens, including archiving, tracking, and storage

Requirements

  • At least an associate's degree in biological science (e.g., biology, chemistry, etc.)
  • Laboratory work experience required
  • Proven flexibility and dependable performance

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm, exempt position, working from our Pittsburgh, PA @ Nova Place laboratory. The role may require flexibility to meet operational needs.

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Currently, Castle Biosciences does not sponsor H-1B visas, OPT, or employment-related visas.
