Lab Instrument Coordinator

About the role
Eurofins PSS seeks a Laboratory Instrument Coordination Specialist to support our client’s Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis and Digital Technologies in their Rahway, NJ facility. In this position, you will work with the metrology and validation team within analytical laboratories to support cGMP operations.
Responsibilities
- Supporting/overseeing instrument maintenance, calibration, and qualification including HPLCs, Plate Readers, balances, FTIRs, etc.
- Reviewing and filing documents consistent with cGMP record keeping
- Maintaining inventory of laboratory instruments utilizing various applications
- Supporting in new laboratory system installations & Qualifications
- Liaising closely with cross-functional teams to support compliance activities
- Authorizing change controls and deviations when necessary
- Carrying out all assignments to the standards of efficiency, innovation, accuracy and safety in accordance with applicable requirements
- The role may require utilizing a company vehicle (car) to transport service providers across site.
Requirements
- Completed Bachelor's degree in a scientific concentration
- At least one year experience working in a cGMP environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Valid Driver's License; the role may require utilizing a company vehicle (car) to transport service providers across site
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience supporting analytical laboratory equipment including but not limited to balances, calibration weights, pH meters, Liquid Chromatographs (LCs) and Gas Chromatographs (GCs)
Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rahway, NJ are encouraged to apply.
Pay
Compensation is $24–$25/hour depending on experience.
