About the Role

Schedule
- Full Time - 40 Hours Per Week, Monday through Friday
- No weekends or holidays (exception on weekends if needed for special circumstances)
- Day Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Responsibilities
- Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans.
- Ensures that the productivity and actions of the team meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
- Supervises laboratory activities to ensure that procedures are performed promptly, accurately, and precisely according to department and hospital policies and procedures.
- May participate in the development of departmental staffing, revenue, and/or expense budgets and has direct responsibility for adhering to those goals. This includes responding to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
- Schedules staff and assigns work to ensure that laboratory procedures are performed promptly, proficiently, and accurately. When necessary, the supervisor is expected to perform tasks routinely assigned to direct reports.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-5 years of experience
Preferred Requirements
- Associate's Degree
- 5-10 years of experience
- 5-10 years of supervisor experience
- Phlebotomy certification or license
