Lab Courier

Location: Phoenix, AZ | Type: Contract to Hire | Compensation: $18.50/hr | Work Model: Onsite

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with local and state guidelines regarding sample handling and chain of custody of samples.
• Complete and review paperwork pertaining to sample drop-offs and pick-ups and verify all documentation is accounted for.
• Maintain company vehicle in a well-maintained and presentable condition.
• Support all aspects of laboratory work including sample receipt, sample intake, sample processing, and sample storage.
• Assist with daily tasks including cleaning, maintenance, and calibration of lab equipment as well as documenting temperature logs, labware maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all laboratory safety, operation, quality assurance, and quality control Standard Operating Procedures.
• Exhibit professionalism at all times.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License with an excellent driving record (no at-fault accidents or moving violations within the last 12 months) to drive a company vehicle.
• Able to drive up to 75% of the week with 25% in the lab.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Lab experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
