About the role
The Vision Lab, housed within the Psychology Department in the College of Liberal Arts, is seeking a Lab Manager to oversee the daily operations of a research lab specializing in visual perception and cognitive science.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support experiments
- Manage lab logistics and resources
- Supervise and mentor undergraduate research assistants
- Auxiliary in administrative and compliance tasks
- Lead an independent research project
Requirements
- Master's degree in psychology, neuroscience, or related field
- Experience in laboratory management and research
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of research methods and statistical analysis
Skills
- Proficiency in laboratory equipment and software
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
