Responsibilities

• Leading assay development, validation, and implementation within a high-complexity clinical laboratory environment.
• Driving data analysis, workflow optimization, and troubleshooting while partnering cross-functionally to support clinical research and lab operations.
• Overseeing sample analysis, QA, regulatory compliance (CLIA/CAP), and supporting lab operations through SOPs, instrument verification, and technical leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Life Science, Biology, or Clinical Laboratory Science and 4-7 years research/development experience OR Master’s and 3-5 years experience or PhD and 1-2 years experience.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency, scientific creativity, successful collaboration with others, and independent thought.
• Minimum 4 years laboratory experience in High Complexity testing plus QA training or 2 years clinical QA experience.
• Experience with one or more of the following: Molecular techniques, digital imaging, multiplex immunolabeling, digital pathology, image analysis or processing, bioinformatics/computational biology.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, exempt position, working from our Phoenix, AZ laboratory.
