Christian Hospital has a full-time (Night Shift) Lab Associate opportunity available. If you have a positive attitude and want to learn from the best, this position is a great opportunity for those interested in phlebotomy. Experience is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Role Purpose: Performs a variety of pre analytic, analytic and post analytic laboratory duties as assigned.

• Responsibilities: Performs waived and moderate complex testing with appropriate training and competency, sweat chloride collections, EKG's, etc. Reports test results as appropriate. Sorts and processes routine and specific high level specimens received by the lab--including multistep technical processing (i.e. Histology, Microbiology, Cytology, etc.). Ensures correct processing and packaging for esoteric send out tests. Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times. Inventory management, equipment cleaning, maintenance, loading, etc.

• Minimum Requirements: Education - High School Diploma or GED; Experience - 2-5 years Supervisor Experience; No Experience Preferred Requirements: Education - Associate's Degree; Licenses & Certifications - Basic Life Support (BLS), Phlebotomy
