Lab Assistant - School of Information Technology

This position is part-time and temporary, filled each semester on an as-needed basis to build a pool of qualified candidates for future openings.

Responsibilities

• Lab and equipment monitoring
• Aiding students with application, procedures, and policies
• Lab preparation and supplies
• Basic troubleshooting for computers
• Aiding with setup of PCs per faculty requirements
• Imaging of hard drives, PC configuration and upgrades
• PC and network wiring
• Network rack configuration

Requirements

• Good communication skills
• IT education
• Hardware and software knowledge
