Lab Assistant - PRN/On Call

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy procedures with accuracy, efficiency, and minimal patient discomfort
• Collect and properly label blood specimens as ordered by physicians
• Ensure specimens are handled and transported according to laboratory standards
• Support lab staff with day-to-day laboratory tasks as needed
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all safety and compliance standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program or equivalent training and experience
• One year of prior experience preferred

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred
