Qualifications
- High school or GED equivalent
- Successful completion of OSF Phlebotomy class within 6 months of hire (if OSF Phlebotomy class has not been previously completed and/or does not have previous phlebotomy experience)
- Previous phlebotomy experience or training
- Successful completion of OSF Phlebotomy class
- Electronic Medical Record
- Microsoft application basic proficiency
Requirements
- Commitment to patient identification and excellence in customer service
- Keeps accurate records, such as quality control and temperature monitoring in laboratory areas
- Reviews provider orders and maintains up to date knowledge of new laboratory standards and information
Skills
- Basic proficiency in Electronic Medical Record
- Microsoft application basic proficiency
Pay
Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. The expected pay range for this position is $18.27 - $20.29/hour.
