Lab Assistant - 2nd Shift
This is a fully onsite role based at our Global Central Laboratory in Highland Heights, KY. We welcome applicants from all locations within the US. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and able to pass a comprehensive background check, including a drug screening.

Responsibilities
- Process and manage clinical samples for various diagnostic tests
- Assist in the preparation of reagents and materials for clinical chemistry
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Contribute to the efficient functioning of lab services by performing essential support tasks
- Collaborate with a diverse team of scientists and healthcare professionals
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification
- Technical positions may require a certificate
- 0 to 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Physical Requirements
- Frequently stands, twists waist, squats, and bends neck for 4–6 hours per day
- Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists
- Ability to make precise coordinated movements of the fingers to grasp and manipulate objects
- Frequent mobility required
- Occasional crouching, stooping, bending, and twisting of upper body and neck
- Moderate lifting (or otherwise movement, carrying, setting, and placement) of 15–30 lbs, with a maximum lift of 35 lbs
- Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf
- Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; ability to listen to and understand information presented through spoken words and sentences
- May interact with diverse groups, gathering sensitive information
- Works with guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions from management

As a Lab Assistant, you will support the daily operations of the clinical laboratory, ensuring the accurate processing and documentation of samples. You will assist in maintaining lab equipment and compliance with regulatory standards, contributing to the efficient functioning of our lab services.
