Lab Analyst – Chemical Management

Lab Analyst Chemical Management Location: San Diego, CA 92121 Duration: Contract Work Setting: Onsite Laboratory We are seeking a motivated Lab Analyst / Chemical Management Specialist to support laboratory glassware processing and general lab operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, organized, and willing to learn. Responsibilities Collect, clean, inspect, and deliver laboratory glassware and reusable materials. Operate autoclaves, glassware washers, ultrasonic baths, and sterilization equipment. Perform decontamination, sanitization, and routine equipment checks. Inspect glassware for cleanliness and defects. Maintain inventory, equipment logs, and required documentation. Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and laboratory safety procedures. Handle biohazardous materials and hazardous waste according to established procedures. Support other laboratory areas through cross-training as needed. Requirements High School Diploma/GED required. College graduates and students are welcome. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Team player with good communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Must meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
