Key Responsibilities
- Act as an escalation point for complex macOS incidents and problems, owning high-severity issues through resolution and root-cause analysis.
- Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise-scale MDM platforms supporting macOS devices.
- Build and maintain scripts and automation to reduce manual effort, accelerate remediation, improve endpoint telemetry, and streamline operational processes.
- Partner with Security, Networking, Service Desk, and Infrastructure teams to standardize support solutions, publish knowledge articles, and improve L1/L2 operational capabilities.
- Monitor macOS fleet health and provide reporting on KPIs including compliance, patch levels, endpoint performance, and incident trends.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to endpoint management, automation, patching, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate on cross-platform interoperability issues and support VDI/Citrix environments as needed.
- Work closely with Windows engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and compatibility across enterprise platforms.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, change records, and operational procedures.
- Participate in change management and release management processes while ensuring operational stability and compliance.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience supporting enterprise macOS environments.
- Hands-on experience with MDM platforms such as Jamf Pro, Kandji, Intune, Workspace ONE, or equivalent.
- Experience with scripting and automation using Bash, Shell, Python, or AppleScript.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills for macOS systems, applications, and endpoint services.
- Experience supporting endpoint compliance, patch management, and fleet health monitoring.
- Familiarity with cross-platform support environments including Windows interoperability.
- Working knowledge of VDI/Citrix environments preferred.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced enterprise environments supporting critical business operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Jamf certifications preferred (Jamf 100/200/300).
- Experience with enterprise endpoint security and compliance initiatives.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise service management platforms.
- Experience with automation and modern endpoint engineering best practices.
