About the role
We are currently looking to add to our team an exciting opportunity as an Individual L2 Account Manager.
Responsibilities
- Take lead information from clients and answer general questions.
- Absorb and assist clients with pre-enrollment, post-enrollment and claim questions/issues.
- Research and respond to L2 agent questions in a timely manner.
- Absorb and assist with scheduling client appointments.
- Check status of applications and send confirmation to agent and client.
- Provide general customer service.
- Research new insurance products.
- Help implement new software/technology as needed.
- Order new client materials including ID cards.
- Submit applications using best method for the carrier (online, fax, email).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred or the recognized equivalent in education and experience, required.
- Health Insurance License within 60 days of hire.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in the insurance industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- High comfort level with Excel.
- Comfortable learning new software/technology as needed.
Qualifications
- Detail-orientated.
- Thorough understanding of complex group insurance terms, products, and strategies.
- Ability to contribute to a collaborative environment by consistently demonstrating a positive attitude and effort in order to achieve goals and objectives.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to actively listen and problem solve with minimal assistance.
- Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and work in a fast-paced environment.
