About the role

We are currently looking to add to our team an exciting opportunity as an Individual L2 Account Manager.

Responsibilities

• Take lead information from clients and answer general questions.
• Absorb and assist clients with pre-enrollment, post-enrollment and claim questions/issues.
• Research and respond to L2 agent questions in a timely manner.
• Absorb and assist with scheduling client appointments.
• Check status of applications and send confirmation to agent and client.
• Provide general customer service.
• Research new insurance products.
• Help implement new software/technology as needed.
• Order new client materials including ID cards.
• Submit applications using best method for the carrier (online, fax, email).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred or the recognized equivalent in education and experience, required.
• Health Insurance License within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in the insurance industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• High comfort level with Excel.
• Comfortable learning new software/technology as needed.

• Detail-orientated.
• Thorough understanding of complex group insurance terms, products, and strategies.
• Ability to contribute to a collaborative environment by consistently demonstrating a positive attitude and effort in order to achieve goals and objectives.
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to actively listen and problem solve with minimal assistance.
• Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and work in a fast-paced environment.

Hourly Range: $21.50 - $24.00 per hour
