L1 Systems Admin - Albuquerque

About the role

We are seeking a System Administrator to provide support for a closed network lab environment. This long-term contract position requires working 100% onsite.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated system administration for a closed network lab.
• Deliver software and hardware support for desktops, laptops, and workstations within restricted areas.
• Support and maintain dedicated network infrastructure.
• Perform installation, move, add, change, and disposal (IMACD) activities.
• Manage and follow up on problems, issues, and escalations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in system administration or IT hardware support is required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft (MS) workstation operating systems.
• Experience with MS Office products.
• Ability to install and maintain MS Operating systems on various devices and peripherals.
• Capability to install new software releases, perform system upgrades and patching, and resolve software/hardware related issues.
• A CompTIA Security+ CE certification is required before the start date.

Physical Requirements

The role requires the ability to lift up to 35 pounds and be standing for most of the day.
