L&D RN - Contract

About the Role

A dedicated Labor and Delivery RN is needed to provide compassionate care during a critical time for mothers and newborns. You will ensure patient safety and comfort by executing nursing standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic care to mothers and newborns
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Coordinate multidisciplinary efforts for patient care
• Manage high-risk labor and fetal monitoring
• Engage in collaborative decision-making to adapt to varying clinical needs
• Ensure exceptional patient outcomes through evidence-based practice

Requirements

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in Labor and Delivery
• Experience with high-risk labor and antepartum care
• Proficiency in fetal monitoring
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Experience with Epic EHR (Electronic Health Record) system
