About the role
The KYC Process Governance, AVP position is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and guiding the KYC process across the firm.
Responsibilities
- Support the Bank's Compliance Program by monitoring transaction activity and escalating suspicious activity for investigation.
- Review work papers and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring findings and recommendations are properly supported.
- Lead or participate in field discussions with business line management and escalate issues requiring immediate attention.
- Track regulatory changes impacting compliance programs and communicate changes to relevant business units.
- Aid in the rollout of Compliance initiatives in CoDA and throughout the Americas.
- Draft/edit training materials.
Essential Skills
- 5-7+ years of experience in KYC, AML or related fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to take initiative and manage challenges professionally.
- Self-motivation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to perform detailed research and analysis.
- Experience with document editing and procedure writing.
- ACAMS or similar financial industry certifications preferred.
- Knowledge of SharePoint development and team management experience.
Pay
The typical base pay range for this role is between $90K - $110K, depending on qualifications and location.
Schedule
The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day.
