Kubernetes Platform Engineer

About the role

Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Apply advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction, mentor, and supervise team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deploy applications in an air-gapped environment
• Work on Agile teams using collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, or Discourse
• Create and conduct automated unit and system integration tests
• Communicate technical ideas and deliver briefings with cross-functional teams
• Provide feedback on failed modules and components through automated testing

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with version control
• Knowledge of Terraform
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 2 months of hire date

• Bachelor's degree

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).
