About the role

KS2 Teacher at Tupton Primary & Nursery Academy, part of Redhill Academy Trust. Part‑time 0.4 FTE, working Thursdays and Fridays only. Permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons
• Use creative strategies to support all learners
• Track progress and give meaningful feedback
• Build a positive, inclusive classroom culture
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice
• Get involved in wider school life and enrichment activities

Requirements

• Ability to engage, inspire and motivate both pupils and colleagues
• Strategic vision to be part of the team moving the school forward
• Excellent classroom skills and a sound understanding of how children learn
• Able to forge excellent relationships with colleagues, parents and children
• Team player
• Exceptional teacher of English and mathematics
• Knowledge and skills to inspire children’s learning in all wider areas of the curriculum

Pay

Pay follows the Redhill Academy Trust teachers’ pay scale.

Schedule

Part‑time 0.4 FTE, Thursdays and Fridays only. Permanent role, required from January 2027 or sooner.
