The Role
As the successful KS1 Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage children to become confident, independent learners while helping every pupil achieve their full potential.
- Planning and delivering creative, well-structured lessons that bring learning to life.
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom where every child feels valued.
- Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs.
- Encouraging high standards of behaviour, achievement, and personal development.
- Supporting pupils' confidence, resilience, and overall wellbeing.
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, parents, and carers.
- Playing an active role in school life through events, enrichment activities, and wider initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school (ECTs are encouraged to apply).
- Good knowledge of the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- A positive, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- A genuine commitment to helping every child succeed.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
