KS1 teacher

The Role

As the successful KS1 Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage children to become confident, independent learners while helping every pupil achieve their full potential.

• Planning and delivering creative, well-structured lessons that bring learning to life.
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom where every child feels valued.
• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs.
• Encouraging high standards of behaviour, achievement, and personal development.
• Supporting pupils' confidence, resilience, and overall wellbeing.
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, parents, and carers.
• Playing an active role in school life through events, enrichment activities, and wider initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

• Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school (ECTs are encouraged to apply).
• Good knowledge of the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• A positive, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
• A genuine commitment to helping every child succeed.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
