Essential Job Functions

  • Manage complex investment portfolios with discretionary authority, including advising, planning, and executing investment strategies.
  • Evaluate client goals and objectives; collaborate with relationship teams to develop and implement tailored investment strategies.
  • Construct, review, and rebalance portfolios in alignment with client objectives, investment policies, and strategic asset allocation guidance.
  • Initiate and execute investment transactions consistent with approved strategies and fiduciary standards.
  • Deliver investment advice within an open architecture platform, leveraging a broad range of solutions.
  • Develop and implement diversified asset allocation strategies aligned with Wealth Segment guidelines.
  • Monitor and analyze portfolio performance; recommend adjustments as needed to meet client objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain deep expertise in financial markets and contribute to investment committees and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Support development of investment policy statements and overall client strategy in partnership with relationship management teams.
  • Participate in client meetings and relationship reviews; provide insights and recommendations to help achieve client goals.
  • Collaborate with internal advisors and sales partners to deliver comprehensive, high-quality client service.
  • Communicate timely updates to Relationship Managers regarding significant client developments or market impacts.
  • Coordinate with clients’ external advisors (e.g., attorneys, CPAs) on asset allocation and overall investment strategy.
  • Promote the full range of Wealth Segment products and services to existing clients to support retention and growth.
  • Clearly articulate the value and competitive advantages of the Key Private Bank platform and advisory approach.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales and business development goals, including client expansion, referrals, and new client acquisition.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, and centers of influence to drive referrals and enhance the organization’s reputation.

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in a business-related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the investment management field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong client focus. Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a sales and client servicing team.
  • Experience and proven success in an open architecture environment.
  • Progress towards advanced degree or professional certification.
  • Demonstrated track record of sales success.
  • Experience managing a high-net-worth book of business.
  • Ability to use: office equipment, Trust accounting system and portfolio management system.

Compensation and Benefits

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
