Kotlin Coding Specialist - Freelance AI Trainer Project

About the role

We’re looking for Kotlin specialists to transform real-world engineering scenarios into high-quality, idiomatic Kotlin solutions. Your work will directly contribute to the development of powerful AI tools that assist developers in solving complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and correct AI-generated code
• Create and optimize Kotlin code patches
• Ensure technical correctness, maintainability, and clarity
• Implement modern Android development practices
• Document best practices for Android design patterns and coding conventions

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with modern Android and Kotlin development
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, and Jetpack libraries like Room, WorkManager, Datastore, ViewModel, and Hilt
• Experience with build.gradle configuration, dependency management, and networking libraries such as OkHttp, Retrofit, and Coil
• Experience with Android multimedia tools (CameraX, ExoPlayer, Media3) is a plus

Qualifications

• Strong background in Android software development
• Demonstrable experience building and maintaining production-level Kotlin applications
• Clear, structured communication and the ability to explain technical decisions

Pay

A pay range of $35+ per hour, with the exact rate determined after evaluating your experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offer amounts may vary from the pay range listed above.
