About the role

Kohler’s Leadership Development Programs are designed to accelerate the development of future leaders through structured, cross-functional rotational experiences that drive meaningful business impact. Participants join as full-time associates, gaining broad exposure across the organization while being supported through intentional development, mentorship, and a strong cohort experience.

The Human Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLDP) is a two-year rotational program for recent graduates. It builds expertise across key Human Resources functions while demonstrating how talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness drive business success. Through rotational assignments, participants partner with leaders, contribute to high-impact initiatives, and tackle real-world challenges that influence the employee experience and strengthen performance. Mentorship, leadership exposure, and professional development prepare participants for strategic roles at Kohler.

Responsibilities

  • Explore diverse HR functions: rotate through HR business partnership, employee relations, talent acquisition, learning & development, and total rewards to build a well-rounded HR foundation.
  • Develop strategic HR skills: strengthen capabilities in leadership, data-driven decision-making, change management, and employee engagement through real-world challenges.
  • Drive meaningful change: contribute to initiatives that shape culture, support employees, and align with business strategy.

Program Structure & Experiences

This two-year, full-time rotational program provides broad business exposure and accelerates leadership readiness. Participants complete 3–4 cross-functional rotations, each lasting 6–8 months, contributing to impactful work aligned with business priorities. Additional development includes:

  • A week-long immersive onboarding with a cross-functional cohort.
  • Intentional semi-annual seminars and quarterly learning sessions.
  • Exposure to senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Ongoing mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Cohort-based community-building and networking events.

The program culminates in a formal graduation, positioning participants for strategic full-time roles aligned with their strengths, interests, and business priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a major in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, obtained no later than June 2027.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $56,600 – $84,900. The specific salary offered may vary based on experience, education, and work location.
