Kofax/Imaging developer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop imaging solutions and major enhancements to scanning and faxing systems.
• Design and deploy enterprise-scale capture solutions and automate information-intensive processes.
• Develop imaging, workflow solutions, client/server, WinForms, web-based applications using .Net and Java technologies on different layers of the infrastructure with scalable and high availability systems.
• Implement custom workflows, export connectors using C#.Net, JAVA and CM APIs to integrate back-end IBM EE Content Management Systems.
• Develop web services using REST, JSON, SOAP, and security features using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Ajax, and jQuery.
• Design and implement imaging applications that integrate with vendor cloud applications.
• Work extensively with Document Classes in KTM Project Builder, Locators, and Recognition Engines.
• Ensure systems and processes meet security and compliance expectations.

Requirements

• Install, configure, and maintain production scanners of Fujitsu, Next Scan, and scanning applications.
• Document functional design, each aspect of a system, and application as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance.
• Proven track record of solid experience with Kofax Capture 11, KTM 6, KCIC, KCNS, and/or Kofax (Tungsten) Total Agility platforms, IBM Content Management, and OpenText/RightFax systems.
• Strong programming skills in VB.Net, C#.Net, MVC, ASP.net, .Net Core, WinForms, WPF, LINQ, Entity Framework, and backend RDBMS databases using MS SQL Server and DB2 and/or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of various scripting languages like VB Script, Java Script, SBL, and Win Wrap Basic.
• Extensive experience with OCR/ICR and barcode technologies, image preprocessing, and machine learning-based classification.
• Experience with IBM Navigator EDS services and interface templates for content repositories.
• CIP (Certified Information Professional) certification.
• AWS hands-on experience.
• PostgreSQL DB experience.

Qualifications

Over 8+ years of experience in System analysis, design, and development of Document Management Systems, Record management, Enterprise Content Management processes, and workflow solutions.

Skills

Kofax 11 certification, Kofax Transformation Modules 6.x, Kofax Total Agility, CIP (Certified Information Professional) certification, IBM EE Content management systems, AWS hands-on experience, PostgreSQL DB experience.
