Knuckle Boom Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Knuckle Boom Operator to join our team at Zenith Tech Inc., part of the Walbec Group. This position is in preparation for our upcoming 2024 season and involves operating a Knuckle Boom crane alongside other construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Knuckle Boom crane and other construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform tasks such as grading, slope maintenance, and utility handling using various pieces of equipment.
• Ensure proper safety and incident reporting.
• Maintain and secure all equipment.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Class A CDL preferred.
• Experience operating construction equipment.
• Certified to operate a Knuckle Boom crane.
• Able to read and understand grade stakes, automated machine control cab displays, etc.
• Able to maneuver machinery in tight quarters, around people, traffic, and utilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in construction operations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Skills

• Proficient in operating a Knuckle Boom crane.
• Ability to read and interpret grade stakes and machine control displays.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Strong attention to detail.
