Knoxville Security Officer for a Downtown Public Building

About the role

The Security Officer position involves patrolling a large public building downtown, directing visitors, and maintaining order. The role is highly mobile and requires standing and walking throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Protect the property of our clients against fire, vandalism, and illegal entry
• Direct visitors and maintain order
• Patrol the building downtown
• Work various shifts including Friday 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Saturday 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Sunday 12:30 PM - 5:30 PM, Monday 8:30 AM - 8:30 PM

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Criminal background check and drug test required
