Knoxville Security Gate Officer

This post is the first point of contact for a large Knoxville client. It is a customer-facing role requiring strong interpersonal skills, proper phone etiquette, the ability to multitask, and the ability to remain calm and friendly during busy periods. Candidates must be trustworthy, maintain confidentiality, and write reports clearly, concisely, and accurately. Candidates must complete Walden training and acquire a security license upon starting. Walden Security assists new employees through the licensing process, which includes a background check, fingerprints, a training class, and a licensing fee. Payroll deductions will cover state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Protect the industrial or commercial property of clients against fire, vandalism, and illegal entry
• Serve as the first point of contact for a large Knoxville client
• Demonstrate strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Write reports in a clear, concise, and accurate manner

Requirements

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test

Pay

$16.00 USD per hour, paid weekly.
